Jacob is a Raleigh native, born and raised. He is a husband, Attorney, US Navy veteran, and most importantly a father of four wonderful children. He and his wife attended Wake County Public Schools, graduating from Sanderson High School in 1997, and three of Jacob and Lisa’s four children currently attend Wake County Public Schools. As a public school parent, Jacob is keenly aware of the challenges facing our students, parents and teachers in the Wake County Public School System.
There is no reason Wake County Public Schools should not be the best in the nation. For far to long, the school board has flown under the radar to implement there social agenda rather than focusing on sound education. This has resulted in falling proficiency rates in reading and math, year over year for the past decade. It is time to change leadership and head in a new direction by empowering parents, investing in students and supporting teachers.

To ensure students and teachers have the tools necessary to allow all students to reach their academic potential and leave school ready to be productive members of society.
Parents, students and teachers.
