I was born and raised just up the road from Great Falls in Havre. I attended Havre High School, and during my senior year, I announced my first campaign for the Montana House of Representatives. I went on to win the primary in 2016, just months after graduating from high school, and then beat the incumbent in the general election. I was re-elected in 2018 to serve a second two-year term.

I also attended MSU-Northern while serving in the legislature and graduated with an Associate of Arts degree in 2020. In the spring of 2021 I enrolled in a Bachelor of Christian Ministry program at Regent University. I am not currently enrolled, but look forward to completing this degree in the future.

I was hired as a central Montana organizer for Big Sky 55 Plus, a non-profit organization that works to make sure Montanans 55 and older have a voice in government in 2019. I now serves as the Program Director for the organization and live in Great Falls.

In my free time I like to go fishing, backpacking, and hunting. One of my favorite childhood memories was watching minor league baseball games with my grandpa in Great Falls. I enjoy watching the Voyagers to this day.

  • Fighting for access to an affordable housing market.
  • Cutting the red tape on mom-and-pop businesses to ensure a thriving community.
  • Getting more Montanans into higher paying jobs through workforce development opportunities.
What Montanans want is reasonable. We want the dignity of a hard day's work and a good job that pays enough to raise a family. We want affordable and accessible healthcare, quality public education, and workforce training opportunities that get people to work. We want the assurance that if we do our best, that if we work hard, we can have a roof over our head, food in our bellies, and a reasonable shot at a dignified retirement. This is what I hear from voters. I hear you. I understand. And I will fight to make sure that every Montanan who wants to spend the rest of their life here has the means to do so. Let’s work together to fight for the people and places we love the most.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Montana

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
