Hello Hoosiers! My name is Jacob Bailey and I am running for US Congress in Indiana for 2022! I am the Green Party candidate and so I will NOT be in the primaries only the General Election in November. I am a write in candidate so please spread the word about the campaign! There are 10 Key Values in the Green Party that clearly define the beliefs and values that I hold dear. Please look me up on YouTube and FaceBook to learn more or get involved. For Peace, the planet and for ALL people, Jacob
  • Avoid partisan politics and vote Green!
  • Choose to vote on what matters to you NOT fear of an opposing party.
  • Peace, kindness and hard work will prevail!
I feel passionately about taking of the environment while also supporting the economy and growing the job market. To make a stronger and more sustainable Hoosier state, we need to be much more forward thinking than we have been. We are strong and intelligent people that can make good lives for ourselves, but also look long term at helping our grandchildren and beyond. Take a stand against corporate Washington and vote for a candidate that has no money ties.
Henry David Thoreau
He was a strongly opposed to slavery and he opposed war. He was a free thinker and lived how he felt he should live rather than how people told him to live.
There is plenty of Green literature out there. Maybe start with a biography of Eugene Debs.
My ideas are askew of mainstream thinking. I want people in hundreds of years from now to feel inspired by my writing and by my deeds.
McDonalds for about 8 months - then off to the Army.
Civil Disobedience by Thoreau
It challenges out thinking and it informed Gandhi and Martin Luther King
I haven't had health care for over twenty years. I have worked full time teaching children all of these years and yet I don't get medical care. That should never happen in America!
It has the ability to help millions of people very quickly. It holds a huge amount of responsibility that should never be taken lightly. We have the ability to shape the world!
No. I almost feel it is often best if they don't have previous experience. We need more free thinking people who are not tied to money or favors.
Caring for the environment is the filter that we should run all decisions through. Without drinking water and air to breath, nothing else would matter.
I think that I am most qualified to be on committees in the realm of education. I think I would have the most impact on National Security matters.
A must! Of course we need term limits!
Being from Indiana, I have liked both Richard Lugar and Lee Hamilton.
Want to hear a joke about paper?
Naw, nevermind, its terrible.
Yes! I believe in compromising on policy, BUT not Beliefs. I also think that politicians should be open to learning and changing over time. Never vote along party lines just for the sake of lining up neatly.
I feel that raising awareness about Green based policies would be well received. Most Americans support the basic ideas of helping people and protecting the environment.
