Jacob Brown is a judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court Middle District of Florida. He assumed office on November 3, 2021. His current term ends on November 3, 2035.

Education

Brown obtained a B.S. in chemical engineering, pulp & paper science & technology from North Carolina State University in 1994. He earned his J.D. from Samford University Cumberland School of Law in 1998.[1]

Career

Before becoming a bankruptcy judge, Brown worked for over 20 years in private practice with Akerman LLP in Jacksonville. He previously clerked for Judge Jerry A. Funk of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida.[1] Before attending law school, Brown was a chemical engineer in manufacturing facilities.[2]
