Holloway was defeated by incumbent Rick Crawford.[2] Holloway ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Arkansas's 1st District. He faced Scott Ellington, incumbent Rick Crawford (R) and Jessica Paxton (L) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[3]
