Jacob Rosecrants (Democratic Party) is a member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives, representing District 46. He assumed office on September 20, 2017. His current term ends on November 18, 2026.
Rosecrants (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Oklahoma House of Representatives to represent District 46. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Rosecrants' professional experience includes working as a middle school and high school teacher. He earned a degree in history from the University of Oklahoma in 2008.[1]

2017
A special election for the position of Oklahoma House of Representatives District 46 was held on September 12, 2017. A primary election took place on July 11, 2017. The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was May 3, 2017.[2]
The seat was vacant following Scott Martin's (R) resignation. Martin resigned from the state House in order to direct the Norman Chamber of Commerce. His resignation was effective May 31, 2017.[3]
Jacob Rosecrants (D) defeated Darin Chambers (R) in the September 12 general election.[4]
Rosecrants ran unopposed in the Democratic primary. Chambers defeated Charlie Samples and Jimmy Shannon in the Republican primary.[5]
