She will work to change the Public Health Code to prevent an unelected bureaucrat, acting under the direction of an overreaching Governor, from having complete control over our lives and restore the checks and balances of legislative oversight. Jaime Greene opposes medical mandates and believes that government must never again have the unchecked power to close businesses based on one person’s opinion of what is “essential.”
Jaime Greene believes parents have the right to choose the manner and content of their child’s education—whether it’s the right to demand accountability from school boards, the right to choose their child’s school, or the right to homeschool. She will stand up for parents having a vital role in education, no matter what form they choose.
Jaime Greene believes that the confusing, contradictory, and onerous regulations the State of Michigan puts on businesses—particularly licensing fees that hurt small business and have nothing to do with public safety—are damaging to our economy.

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
