I am an 18 year old native to Campton who was inspired to enter public service after seeing the struggles and hardships of people across my community, my father and I have worked on a plan to fix our water shortage. My plans go beyond that also I intend on investing in a city cop, fixing our water problems, creating a stronger community in Campton, and working together on issues to move our small town forwards.
  • I want to ensure that our community has a city cop so that our parks are a safe environment for children and families and not a place to abuse drugs.
  • I want to invest in our water with the infrastructure funding that we have received.
  • I want to turn Campton into a community again and seek state funding for initiatives to lower drug use and provide entertainment in Campton.
Ensuring that everyone have access to the best quality of water, safety, community, and life possible.
I would say I put God first but I look up to many people, including members of my family, my friends, and other people who have been influential in my life.
Public service isn’t just inviting someone to the table, it’s believing that they belong there and that their voice should be heard. That’s how I think politics should be.
Integrity, honesty, and the ability to get stuff done.
I am willing to listen to everyone, I don’t do what’s popular I do what’s right, and I’m going to fight for the people I represent to my fullest ability.
To provide a better future for the people of Campton, to promote community, drug awareness, and be a good role model and public servant to our people and represent them fully.
I would like to be able to look back and see that I did help improve the lives of the people in my community.
The first major historical event that I can remember is the 2008 recession, I was 3 years old.
My first job was as a tour guide at the Red River Gorge Underground and I worked for about 2 months.
I can’t really think of something too public, but everyone has their struggles. I am truly blessed to be happy and healthy in life at the moment though.
The power to raise water bills which I am 100% against doing and will not vote to raise any costs on citizens by 1 copper penny.
I have more experience in political discussion than any of my opponents this year, but that’s for the voters to decide.
It has the ability to make ordinances and control water based decisions.
•State Representative Timmy Truett
•President Allison Wiseman (Kentucky Young Democrats)
I believe it is crucial and important for our public servants/elected officials to cover it.
