I am a 34 year old trial attorney who has lived in Urbandale for virtually my entire life.

I previously worked for the Senate Republicans as a caucus staffer during the 2016-2019 legislative sessions. And 2 years as chief of staff to the Iowa Senate President during the 2021-2022 legislative sessions.

I am running as a libertarian for Iowa House District 44.
  • Smaller, more limited government in all aspects of life
  • Protection and expansion of individual rights and liberties
  • Will always be an independent thinking legislator who votes on what is best for my constituents regardless of party or special interest influence
Taxation, spending, criminal justice reform, and utilities
Being available to listen and understand the wants and needs of constituents.

Being accountable to constituents by letting them know position on legislation and issues before the legislature.

Acting and voting independent of any party or special interest influence.
I have a lot of compassion and understanding for other people's viewpoints and perspectives.

I also have a analytical mind with experience and legislative analysis and drafting, which will allow me to be a very effective legislator and to have a firm grasp of the issues and legislation I'm voting on

Lastly, I am a hard worker and have a very strong work ethic. I will always put in the time necessary to do the job the right way. In the legislature, I will put in the time and effort necessary to make sure the residents of house district 44 are and represented to the best of my ability
Actually read and understand legislation I am voting on.

Being available to listen to the wants and needs of constituents

Advocating for what is in the best interest of House District 44.
Population, reigning in the federal government, economic growth, criminal justice reform
Yes. I have 6 years of experience in the Iowa center which will be instrumental in hitting the ground running on day one
Yes. The better relationships the legislator has with other legislators, the more likely they are to find common ground into pass legislation for the benefit of all Iowans
Very limited Powers, and very rarely should they be invoked. The legislature should always oversee and have the ability to cut off emergency powers
Elimination of the Iowa income tax completely
Commerce, ways and means, appropriations
Should be as transparent as humanly possible. It is not currently as transparent as it should be
