Jalal Harb is a judge of the Tenth Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. Harb was appointed to the position on this court by Governor Rick Scott on January 28, 2013.[1] He was re-elected without opposition in 2014, winning a six-year term that expires on January 4, 2021.[2][3]

Education
Harb received a B.A. degree from James Madison School of Public Affairs at Michigan State University in 1984 and a J.D. degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1987.[1]
Career
Prior to his appointment on the Tenth Judicial Circuit Court in Florida, Harb was a veteran prosecutor for State Attorney Jerry Hill in Bartow. Harb began working for Hill in 1988.[1] With more than 24 years experience as a prosecutor, Harb has served as an assistant state attorney in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court in Tampa and in the Tenth Judicial Circuit Court in Bartow.[1] He left the Tenth Judicial Circuit Court in 2001 to work in Hillsborough County as a homicide prosecutor, and then returned to the Tenth Judicial Circuit Court in 2012.[1]
