Eldridge (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Massachusetts State Senate to represent Middlesex and Worcester District. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
James Eldridge was born on August 11, 1973. He earned his bachelor's degree in 1995 from Johns Hopkins University and his J.D. in 2000 from Boston College Law School. His professional experience includes working as a paralegal/litigation assistant for Hale and Dorr, legislative aide for state senator Bob Durard, campaign manager for state Senator Pam Resor, and public interest lawyer for Merrimack Valley Legal Services.[1]

Elections for the Massachusetts State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election was held on September 9, 2014, and a general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 3, 2014. Incumbent James Eldridge was unopposed in the Democratic primary and was unopposed in the general election. Paul Ferro mounted an unsuccessful write-in campaign for the Republican nomination.[6]

Eldridge won re-election in the 2012 election for Massachusetts State Senate Middlesex and Worcester District. Eldridge was unopposed in the September 6 Democratic primary and defeated Dean Cavaretta (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[7][8]
2010
Eldridge won re-election to the Middlesex and Worcester District seat in 2010. He had no primary opposition. George Thompson ran for the seat on the Republican ticket. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.
