James B. Pierce was a judge for the Superior Court of Los Angeles County in California.[1] He lost a bid for re-election in the primary on June 3, 2014, after receiving 49.6% of the vote to challenger Carol Najera's 50.4%. He left the court at the end of his term on January 4, 2015.[2]
