James Babalola ran for judge of the Georgia Court of Appeals. He has been a decision review officer for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.[1]

2010 election

Babalola ran against Antoinette Davis, Adrienne Hunter-Strothers, Chris McFadden, David N. Schaeffer, and Stan Gunter.[2] Babalola earned 10.3% of the vote, compared to Stan Gunter's 11.4%, Adrienne Hunter-Strothers's 12.1%, David N. Schaeffer's 18.0%, Chris McFadden's 22.6%, and Antoinette Davis's 25.5%. Antoinette Davis and Chris McFadden will go on to compete in the runoff election on November 30, 2010.[3]
