James Bacalles
James Bacalles (b. March 26, 1949) is a former Republican member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 136 from 1995 -- when he won a special election -- until 2010. Bacalles was also the Minority Conference Leader for the New York State Assembly.
His other political experiences include assistant minority whip for the New York State Assembly Minority Conference; mayor for the City of Corning; and member of the Steuben County Board of Supervisors/Steuben County Legislature.
Biography
Bacalles attended Ithaca College. His professional experience includes owner and operator for Bacalles Glass Engravers and as an area sales manager of Curtis Industries, Incorporated.[1]
