James Batzer
James Batzer was a judge of the 19th Circuit Court, the 85th District Court, and the probate courts of Benzie and Manistee counties in Michigan. He was first elected to the court in 1985.[1][2][3] In 2008, Batzer was re-elected to his last six-year term. Batzer did not file for re-election in 2014, and retired at the completion of his last term on January 1, 2015.[4]
Education
Batzer received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, his master's degree from the Michigan State University School of Criminal Justice in 1976, and his J.D. degree from Wayne State University Law School in 1978.[3][5]
