James Blanchard
James Johnston Blanchard (b. August 8, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan) was the 45th governor of Michigan. A Democrat, he served two terms from January 1, 1983, to January 1, 1991.
Biography
Education
Blanchard received a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from Michigan State University in 1964 and 1965, respectively. He then received a law degree from the University of Minnesota in 1968.[1]
