James C. Hallock is a circuit court judge on the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit Court.[1] Hallock was appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court to serve as a circuit judge for the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit Court on December 3, 2012. He was elected to a full term on the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit Court Third Subcircuit in 2014.[2][3][4][5]

Hallock ran for election to the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit Court Third Subcircuit.
Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on March 18, 2014, receiving 58.8 percent of the vote. He competed against David James Howard.
General: He was unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014. [2][6]

The Illinois State Bar Association and participating attorneys rated James C. Hallock as Recommended for election in a 2014 poll.[7]

Education

Hallock received a bachelor's degree from East Texas State University and a J.D. from Lewis University.[5]

Career

Hallock was as associate judge from 1992 until 2012, when he was appointed to become a circuit court judge.[8]
