James Colvin was an assistant judge of the superior court in Bennington County, Vermont.[1][2] He was re-elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that expired on January 31, 2019.[3]

Colvin ran for re-election to the superior court, as an assistant judge of Bennington County.
Primary: He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on August 26, 2014.
General: He faced Democrat Wesley Mook and Republicans Charles N. Kokoras and Loyal J. Westcott in the general election on November 4, 2014, and won with 33.1 percent of the vote. Candidates competed for two open seats. [3][4][5] 

2010

Colvin ran for election to the Bennington County assistant judge position in 2010. He received 51.4% of the vote in the primary.[6] He then won with 51.4% in the general election on November 2, 2010.[7]

Career

Prior to joining the court, Colvin was a member of the Vermont House of Representatives.[8]
