James D. Babbitt
James D. Babbitt was a circuit court judge for the Barron County Circuit Court in Barron County, Wisconsin. He was elected to the court in April 2008 and sworn in on August 1, 2008.[1][2] Babbitt retired on October 11, 2013, amid allegations of sexual harassment from a female court reporter.[3][4][5]
Education
Babbitt received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School.[6]
Career
Before his election to the court, Babbitt served as an assistant district attorney for Barron County.[1]
