James D. Birkenholz
James D. Birkenholz was an associate judge of District 5C of Iowa. He was appointed to this position in 1998.[1] He was retained on November 2, 2010, to a six-year term that expired on January 1, 2017.[2][3]
Biography and Education
Birkenholz received his bachelor's and law degrees from Drake University in 1971 and 1974, respectively.[1]
Career
Birkenholz worked as a private practice lawyer for 23 years prior to his judicial appointment in 1998.[1]
2010 election
Birkenholz was retained on November 2, 2010 with 69.52% of the vote.[2][4]
