James D. Gardner is a judge for the Third District of the Utah District Courts in Utah. He was appointed to the court by Governor Gary Herbert on December 15, 2014, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Denise Lindberg. Gardner was confirmed by the Utah State Senate on January 14, 2015.[1][2]
Education
Gardner received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and his J.D. degree from the Duke University School of Law.[1]
Career
Before his appointment to the Third District Court, Gardner was a partner with the law firm of Snell & Wilmer L.L.P in Salt Lake City, Utah.[1]
