Opposition

The Quincy School Committee consists of seven members, six of whom are elected to four-year terms. The seventh member and chair is the Mayor of Quincy. All of the other six members of the board are elected at-large by the district as a whole. The general election was held on November 3, 2015. Three seats were on the ballot in 2015.[1]

The seats of incumbents Paul Bregoli, Kathryn Hubley and David McCarthy were up for election.[2] Bregoli and Hubley won re-election, while James DeAmicis joined the board. Bregoli, Hubley and DeAmicis were the only candidates to file for these seats.[1]
