James Den Uyl

James Den Uyl is a superior court judge for the Vicinage 14 Superior Court, serving Ocean County of New Jersey.[1] He was appointed to the court by former Governor Jon Corzine on June 27, 2007, and reappointed by Governor Chris Christie in June 2014.[2] He will retire in 2025, when he reaches the age of mandatory retirement.[3]
Education
Den Uyl received his undergraduate degree from Boston College and his J.D. from St. Louis University.[4]
Career
Before he joined the court, Den Uyl worked as an attorney in private practice with the firms of Shackleton, Hazeltine, and Buczynski, Garruto Trial Lawyers, and Lynch-Martin.[5]
