James E. Sullivan was a resident judge of the Cook County Circuit Court of Illinois.[1] He served as a judge for the court for 13 years before pursuing private practice. In April 2011, he was recalled by the Illinois Supreme Court for a new term that expired in April 2014.[2]
Career
Before his judicial appointment in 2011, Sullivan was a member of the board overseeing the state's riverboat casinos. He was appointed to the position in 2005 by former Governor Rod Blagojevich.[2]
