James Edmonds (also known as Jim) ran for election for judge of the Oregon 3rd Judicial District Circuit Courts. Edmonds was on the ballot in the primary on May 17, 2022.[source]

He was appointed to the court on February 23, 2021 by Gov. Kate Brown to replace Mary James.[1]

Biography

Edmonds received his bachelor's degree from the University of Oregon in 1982 and his J.D. from George Washington University Law School in 1986. He began his legal career in private practice with Clark, Marsh, Lindauer and McClinton as a civil litigation attorney before rising to a managing partner. He has been a partner and managing partner at Fetherston Edmonds LLP since 2008. Edmonds also teaches as an adjunct professor at Willamette University School of Law and served as a part-time judge pro tem.[1]
