Pirtle graduated from Kentucky's Murray State University in 1972, earning B.S. degrees in English and journalism and a minor in geology.[4]
Career
Pirtle is the founder of Best Screw Products, Inc., a Houston-based company specializing in distribution of industrial fasteners.[4][5]
