James Floyd Ammons
James Floyd Ammons Jr. is a judge for Judicial District 12C of the North Carolina 3rd Superior Court Division. His current term ends on December 31, 2026.
Ammons (independent) ran for re-election for the Judicial District 12C judge of the North Carolina 3rd Superior Court Division. He won in the general election on November 6, 2018.
In 2018, the North Carolina General Assembly passed House Bill 717, revising the state superior court. Ammons' seat on the Fourth Division was absorbed into the Third Division.
Education
Ammons received both his undergraduate degree and his J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.[1]
