James G. Blanchard, Jr.
James G. Blanchard, Jr. is a judge of the Augusta Circuit of Georgia.[1] His term expires in 2018.
Education
Blanchard received his undergraduate degree from Georgia Southern University and his J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.[2][3]
Career
Prior to his appointment to the superior court bench, Blanchard presided over the Juvenile Court of Columbia County. He also served as an attorney for the Columbia County Board of Education, a city attorney for Grovetown, Georgia, and as attorney for the Columbia County Commission.[2]
