I am a Conservative American. I am a husband and father to one daughter.

I am an entrepreneur. I have been an usher serving my church family for more than 25 years. I am an author of my first book "Explain To God."

I am a Captain in the Young Men of Valor organization for boys for more than 15 years.

I was on the Charlotte Motor Review Board for 5 years.

I am an inventor with one patent- Automobile Safety Reflector.

I believe in the founding principles of the Constitution.
  • Safety & Security- I want our neighbors and families to know that this elected official and law enforcement services will provide a safe and secure environment for families and businesses to grow and prosper
  • Trust- I want our citizens to know that the relationship with this elected official is not separating us, but rather joining us together to represent their interests.
  • Transparency- I want the citizens in District 3 to clearly understand that I represent their interests by making considerable information available for them to guide the decisions of our District
Public safety and low-level lawlessness- I am concerned that City Council currently has not provided direction to police department to enforce any city ordinances. Also, the City Council has not provided enough funds and resources for Charlotte, a city of about a million people. These decisions are vital and important to our community. I am in favor of these policies becoming law for the benefit of all
I believe that the City Council office is a microcosm of our District and is vital because it, like other offices, represents real people and businesses whose families, homes and livelihood in many cases can be hugely affected by his/her decisions
I look to God for counsel and direction. I look to man in helping in providing solutions which are fundamental in creating a civic and national representative environment.

I follow the example of peace. Peace which is natural and organic, not just an ideal.
I believe that my strong foundations in faith, family and my Biblical worldview provides me with a unique understanding of the needs of others. Whenever you are in the arena of ideas and ideals, you must be able to view and process critical data and issues in order to bring them into a format that will enable consensus, discussion and ultimately agreement to the benefit of all and not special interests.
I believe that the most important responsibility of an elected official is remember that they work for the people, not the people work for them
My first job began when I was five years old taking care of my grandmother. My task was to take notice of her behavior and call for help if she need it. As days and months went by I believe I began to take on the responsibility of looking after her. As time went on I began to anticipate her needs and try to get something done for her before she asked. At the time I didn't know that this unwanted and unexpected event would shape the foundation of who I am today. By submitting myself to look upon the needs of others before myself I found extraordinary gifts that allow me to look into innocent and dangerous situations and create soft and hard solutions. I served my grandmother for ten years. And now I see that it was the greatest and best job I ever had...
I believe every citizen has the civic responsibility to serve. Because our system of government is a representative Republic, we the citizens must continue to understand and be part of the echo system of government with our votes and with serving in these vital roles.
Anyone who decides to run for a public office should have an understanding of the role and responsibilities of an elected official so that they can utilize the unique powers of the position to help move wrong plans and laws toward right plans and laws. This is done by having excellent people skills, negotiating skills and the ability to understand that most good decisions are best constructed and enacted when others agree also.
