James H. Dillon
James H. Dillon was a judge of the New York Supreme Court 8th Judicial District. He left office in 2021.
Education
Dillon received his B.A. degree in history from Canisius College in 1973. He received his J.D. degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School in 1976.[1]
Career
Prior to his judicial career, Dillon worked as an assistant city attorney of Lackawanna, NY, an Assistant District Attorney of Erie County and a law clerk to Judge Timothy Drury.[1] Dillon was elected to the Erie County Family Court in 1991. He was re-elected in 2001. In 2008, he was elected to the Supreme Court.[2]
