James H. Sortman is a former magisterial district judge for the Lycoming County Magisterial District in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.[1] He has served as a judge for the court since 1985. Sortman retired from the bench in December 2015.[2]
Career
Before he became a judge for the Lycoming County Magisterial District, Sortman served as a police officer for Old Lycoming Township for nine years and for the Lycoming County sheriff's office for one year.[2]
