James B. Haines, Jr. was the Chief Judge with the United States bankruptcy court, District of Maine.[1] Haines served on the court from 1990 and retired on January 3, 2014.[2][3] He was succeeded on the court by Peter G. Cary.[4]
Education
Judge Haines received his undergraduate degree from Washington State University and his J.D. from Willamette University.[5]
