James Herbert Wilkerson
James Herbert Wilkerson (1869-1948) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
He was nominated by President Warren Harding on July 11, 1922 to replace Kenesaw Mountain Landis. He was confirmed by the Senate on July 18, 1922, and received commission that same day. On December 31, 1940, he assumed senior status. He served until his death on September 30, 1948.[1]
