Ballot measures
Holman, along with Don Sebastiani, was one of two chief financial backers of California Proposition 4 (2008), also known as Sarah's Law and the Parental or Alternative Family Member Notification Act.
As of July 14, 2008, Holman had donated $1,375,590 to the effort. Of that, $1.35 million was listed as a loan.[2]
Holman was also a major financial backer of California Proposition 85 (2006) and California Proposition 73 (2005).
Adding the donations Holman has made in 2008 to the donations he made to Props 85 and 73 in 2005 and 2006, Holman has spent around $4.6 million on this cause.
