James Hughes (Federal judge)
James Hughes (1823-1873) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Claims.
Hughes was nominated to the Court of Claims by President James Buchanan. He was commissioned on January 20, 1860. He resigned from the court in December, 1864.[1]
