James Ideman
James M. Ideman (1931-present) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Ideman was nominated by President Ronald Reagan on May 24, 1984, to a seat vacated by Lawrence Lydick; he was confirmed by the Senate on June 15, 1984, and received commission that same day. He assumed senior status on April 2, 1998. He served the Central District of California until his retirement on September 11, 1998. Ideman was succeeded in this position by Gary Feess.
