James J. Piampiano

James J. Piampiano was a justice of the Supreme Court 7th Judicial District in New York. [1] He was elected in the general election on November 3, 2015.[2]
Piampiano retired from the court on December 31, 2020.[3]
Education
Piampiano received his B.A. from St. Bonaventure University and his J.D. from the Ohio Northern University Law School.[4]
Career
Piampiano ran his own legal practice from 1978 through 2010. He also served as a justice of the Henrietta Town Court from 2007 to 2011. From 2009 through 2010, he was an acting justice of the Rochester City Court and a judge of the Rochester Teen Court. He was a judge on the Monroe County Court from 2011 to 2015.[5][6] [7]
