James J. Robinson is the chief judge of the United States bankruptcy court, Northern District of Alabama. He was appointed on February 16, 2006, and his current fourteen-year term will expire on February 15, 2034.[1]

Education
Robinson earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia State University and a J.D. from Samford University.[2]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Robinson worked as an attorney at a private law firm for more than 30 years, where his practiced focused on banking, bankruptcy, and commercial matters.[3]
