Biography
Bell was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on June 22, 1966. He graduated high school from the Jane Addams Business Careers Center in Cleveland. Bell studied at the Hondros Business College in Independence, Ohio, and at the Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland, Ohio. His career experience includes working as a realtor. At the time of his 2020 campaign, Bell was the CEO of James Jerome Bell LLC.[1] He was affiliated with the Karamu Alumni Association board of directors in Cleveland. Bell served in the Ohio National Guard for two years.[2][3]

What would be your top three priorities, if elected?
My number one priority is bringing America back to the ideals of which this country was founded we must make peace with the original sin of this country is the long arduous exploitation of the African America in the United States reparations number one gun control number two and number three environmental sustainability.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I'm passionate about moving America forward in a contemporary 21st century era where artificial intelligence robotics Automation in the light will continue to put America at the cost of a greatness where true Innovation imagination and Independence rain secondly the social condition of our nation is one in such the All Peoples of all colors need to come together as a cohesive family and make America what it ought to be.
Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?
My heroes are contemporary and long ago Alexander the Great who ruled the VIN Known World before he was started dr. Martin Luther King jr. Who's Ministry and Leadership help move this country forward and number three but not least Jesus Christ my Exemplar the one whom which lights the way tomorrow through him and the father all blessings to America and the world.
Is there a book, essay, film, or something else you would recommend to someone who wants to understand your political philosophy?
For Whom the Bell Tolls the original poem by John Donne no man is an island unto himself if a clod be washed ashore Europe would be the Lesser any man's death diminishes me so never ask For Whom the Bell Tolls it tolls for thee.
What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?
The ability to be honest be a man of integrity loyalty and a warmth and kindness for Humanity in American society in general.
What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?
I love the people correspondingly the Christ gave his life and so much that all shall live and we fall short of the glory of the Lord so let us not cast a stone but let us continue to enrich our lives and so much that humanity and World kind of depends on it let us make today the day that we will productively go down this path Less Traveled a path towards peace prosperity and progress.
What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?
The core responsibility of any elected official is to deal with his constituents the citizens of our country and a fair and I'll be lifting way to the uprights Humanity.
What legacy would you like to leave?
I would love to leave and have as my legacy that I tried to be a father to the fatherless child I tried to respect my elders I try to raise a family I tried to work on my agenda both publicly and privately to uplift mankind I believe that I and want to roll the true we only I can walk and for that my legacy will forever be enriched.
What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time?
The first truly memorable occasion that I can remember was I was about 4 years old and I remember Nixon resigning when I was with my mother in her car and it has such a profound effect on me because as I look back on it and that's truly one of the most memorable occasions of my lifetime is the courage to lead truthfully respectfully and integrity Nixon was the first one who truly got exposed for what the presidency has become I applaud those who have come before us as presidents and who will come after us as presidents history show that we must have truth righteousness and honor and elected officials not only in America Barth y to truly make the world a utopian society in which all men of all colors will persing in the old Negro spiritual free at last free at last thank God Almighty we are free at last
What was your very first job? How long did you have it?
My very first job was when I was about 6 or 7 years old and I work with my aunt Georgia at Smitty's and felt a little beverage store in Cleveland Ohio on 92nd and Superior and I will clean up the store on Saturdays and I made exactly $6
What happened on your most awkward date?
I think one of the most awkward dates I ever had was a dating that I had when I met a young lady through the personal ads and we didn't hit it off at all cuz she had to pick me up I had no car we went to a nice restaurant the food was horrible I got into discussion with the manager and we just really hit it off and you know I was really awkward because I really try to just be a gentleman
What is your favorite holiday? Why?
My favorite holiday is Christmas because I spend them with my grand father James H Bell and my nana my LaBelle his third wife but we used to eat and play games and I discuss a rabbit out there while I was so wonderful he's gone now but I truly truly miss those days
What is your favorite book? Why?
My favorite book is the Bible because it is all wisdom knowledge and glory for him who is most high Jehovah

What is your favorite thing in your home or apartment? Why?

What was the last song that got stuck in your head?
She is always in my hair by Prince
What is something that has been a struggle in your life?
Caring too much about those who care not about me but that's just how I'm built to love my neighbor as I would myself
What qualities does the U.S. House of Representatives possess that makes it unique as an institution?
Most truly I say to you for United States government in general and the lower House of Chambers is one in which it speaks for the people of that particular District the needs wants and desires for better way of life to raise a family to grow old to work to play that is what makes the United States House of Representative see so unique is the mix and Myriad of people and personalities that you serve
Do you believe that it's beneficial for representatives to have previous experience in government or politics?
I believe that is helpful but we see today a new Changing of the Guard women minorities and others are truly making their presence felt and today's truly remarkable X Change who we need people who will leave with courage wisdom and Hope
What do you perceive to be the United States’ greatest challenges as a nation over the next decade?
We must not fall behind in the global initiative to make technological progress towards a contemporary society in which we must cooperate internationally and use resources and assets and most importantly people power so I believe the United States greatest challenge of the next decade is to develop contemporary people who can serve not only America but the World At Large we must Infuse new technology that will benefit mankind

What are your thoughts on term limits?
I think that as long as the people generally want that person in office and therefore the people that there should not be term limits only on incompetency

Both sitting representatives and candidates for office hear many personal stories from the residents of their district. Is there a story that you’ve heard that you found particularly touching, memorable, or impactful?
Well the biggest thing in Cuyahoga County Cleveland Ohio right now probably is the jail situation at the county jail with 9. I believe I'm the last 13 months and the generals implorable conditions I believe that you know government truly has failed and probably has felt for a long time the least of our citizens you know as they try just to either be exonerated or found jurisprudence we must at the very least take care of it I break a lease and do our best to make sure that this never happens again. Jail conditions improve both of you know that your parent institution local jails County jails Etc but we must move forward I want to give a special acknowledgement to councilman of Ward 7 basheer Jones the re-entry Alumni Association on Harper Avenue Cleveland Ohio and the 10,000 Fearless men who continue to help these men and reduce recidivism and let's move forward once again knowing that we have to acknowledge the problem to solve it may God bless you
