I am a Conservative Republican who moved to Idaho in 2022, in order to escape the over-taxed, high-crime, insanely trafficked city of Seattle. My wife and I are in love with our new forever-home in Southeast Idaho, and are concerned about the flagrant out-of-state attempts being made to turn our red state blue.
  • Unfortunately for Idaho, the "R" attached to a candidate's name no longer means said candidate doesn't hold a liberal, "progressive" worldview.
  • A candidate who clams to be a Republican ought to fully agree with a minimum of 95% of the official GOP Platform.
  • Fiscal Conservatism is inextricable from social Conservatism; separation between the two has always been a false notion, and both are required ideologies for any politician to be considered a true Republican. The definition of Republicanism is not a subjective one!
Maximum liberty, independent education, responsible spending, traditional morality.
My pastor, my dad, and my best friend; for their integrity, strength, wisdom, and work-ethic.

The and integrity and fortitude required to do right, when tempted or pressured to do wrong. The humility to prioritize the needs and wants of the free people you represent over personal gain. The wisdom and discipline to know when and what to say or write, and to whom.
I have natural leadership tendencies, as well as decades of management experience. I work well with teams and I work well alone. I am organized and I tend to always focus on the destination, while also consistently evaluating the journey. I am independent, financially, and well-centered philosophically and ethically.
To seek and to find the will of one's constituency, then use every tool available to legislate it into law; while staying true to one's Party affiliation, as well as one's personal ethics and convictions.
My dad held two axioms which made up much of his character, and he imparted them onto me, growing up, until they fully became my own: "When a man dies, all he has left in the whole world is his integrity." And, "Always, always, consider the consequences before taking action."
I was a Dishwasher at a restaurant when I was 15 years old; I held that job for one year, before moving onto the position of Line Cook at another restaurant.
The Spy Who Came in From the Cold, because of it's amazing blend of first-hand spy-craft knowledge and its, it's historical accuracy, and it's utterly brilliant, fictional, mystery-filled and adventurous plot.

Being a a step-dad worth having, and being the quality of man my wife deserves. (She's a very quality woman with very high standards.)
Expediting good law, and stopping bad law, for the Gem State.
No, not necessarily. The individual's personal character is far more important than his or her prior political experience.
I've always been TERRIBLE at memorizing the countless jokes I've heard throughout my life.
