James Leslie (Virginia)
James L. Leslie was a 2015 Independent Green candidate for District 38 of the Virginia House of Delegates.[1]

Biography
Leslie earned a bachelor's degree from Slippery Rock College and works as a real estate broker. He spent 30 years in the United States Marine Corps, finishing his career as a colonel after serving in Vietnam, where he was wounded, as well as Granada, Panama, Kuwait and Iraq. He has also worked as a stock broker and a financial planner.[3]

Elections
2015
Elections for the Virginia House of Delegates took place in 2015. A primary election was held on June 9, 2015. The general election took place on November 3, 2015. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 26, 2015.[5] Incumbent Kaye Kory was unopposed in the Democratic primary. James Leslie ran as an Independent Green candidate. Kory defeated Leslie in the general election.[6][7]
