James Libby (Maine)
James Libby (Republican Party) is a member of the Maine State Senate, representing District 22. He assumed office on December 6, 2022. His current term ends on December 1, 2026.

Biography
James Libby lives in Standish, Maine.[1] Libby earned a B.S. in finance and management from Nasson College in 1983, an M.B.A. from St. Bonaventure University in 1985, and a Ph.D. in public policy from the University of Maine in 2000. His career experience includes working as a visiting professor with Colby College and a professor of business administration and dean of academic affairs with Thomas College. Libby has served on the board of directors for the Maine Community College System, the Waterville Opera House, and the Jobs for Maine’s Graduates Program.[1][2]
