James Loveless was a candidate for justice of the peace on the Union Township Justice Court in Nevada.

Loveless won 16.19% of the vote in the primary election on June 12.[1] He was defeated by Lefette Norcutt in the general election on November 6, 2012, earning 44.97% of the vote.[2]
