James M. Barton, II
James M. Barton, II was a judge of the 13th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida. He was appointed to this position in 1999. In 2008, he was re-elected without opposition to another six-year term. He retired when his term expired on January 5, 2015.[1][2][3]
Education
Barton received his B.A. degree from Tulane University and his J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law.[4]
Career
Barton was elected to the Hillsborough County Court in 1991. He served there until 1999, when he was elevated to the circuit court.[1]
