James M. Lavelle ran for judge on the Carbon County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania.

2011 election

Lavelle ran for an open seat on the Carbon County Court of Common Pleas. He was defeated by Joe Matika in both parties' primaries on May 17. He received 40.6% in the Democratic primary and 45% of the vote in the Republican primary.[1]
