James Patrick McGranery (1895-1962) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

McGranery was nominated by President Harry Truman on July 31, 1946, to a seat vacated by Harry Kalodner; he was confirmed by the Senate on July 31, 1946, and received his commission on August 7th. He resigned on May 26, 1952.
