James Muirhead
James R. Muirhead was a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire. He was appointed to this position on September 1, 1995 and re-appointed in 2003. He retired from the court in the spring of 2010 and was succeeded by Landya Boyer McCafferty.[1][2]
Judge Muirhead was the district's second magistrate judge.[3]
Early life and education
Judge Muirhead received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his law degree from the Cornell Law School.[1]
Professional career
Judge Muirhead was a partner of the law firm McLane, Graf, Raulerson and Middleton, P.A. prior to his appointment to the U.S. District Court.[1]
