James N. Erhart

James N. Erhart was a judge for the 90th District Court in Michigan.[1] He was appointed to the court by Governor Rick Snyder on October 10, 2012.[2] On November 4, 2014, Erhart was re-elected unopposed for a full six-year term commencing on January 1, 2015.[3] He retired from the court on November 4, 2019.[4]

Education
Erhart received his undergraduate degree from the College of the Holy Cross and his J.D. degree from the Detroit College of Law.[2]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Erhart practiced law in Emmet County for many years and eventually became a shareholder with the law firm of Stroup, Erhart & Lyons. He also worked as an adjunct professor at North Central Michigan College.[2]
