James Francis Thaddeus O'Connor (1886-1949) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.

O'Connor was nominated by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on August 28, 1940, to a seat vacated by William James; he was confirmed by the Senate on September 19, 1940, and received commission on September 27, 1940. He served the Southern District of California until his death on September 28, 1949.[1] O'Connor was succeeded in this position by William Byrne, Sr..
