James P. Collins
James P. Collins was a judge for the Superior Court of San Francisco County in California. He was appointed by former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger (R) in September 2009 to succeed Diane Wick.[1][2]
Biography
Collins received a bachelor's degree from the University of San Francisco and a J.D. from Lincoln Law School. Prior to joining the court, Collins was a sole practitioner from 1978 to 2009.[2]

Collins ran for re-election to the superior court in 2012. As an unopposed incumbent, his name did not appear on the ballot. After the primary election, Collins was automatically re-elected.[3]
